Greg Sebell (artist name ‘SEBELL’) is a two-time Juno Award (Canada’s Grammy) winning singer and songwriter. His single “Till the Sun Burns Out” charted at #7 on the Canadian Billboard Top 40 charts as a self-managed independent artist - making him the highest charting independent artist at Canadian pop radio in 2014.
Sebell later partnered with Universal Canada and followed that success with “Promiseland," which debuted on Spotify's Canadian Viral chart at #1, and a remix of the same single by Vancouver's STINT (Kesha, Gallant, Banks, Demi Lovato). The Sting remix reached #3 on the HypeMachine global remix chart.
He has won the grand prize in the coveted John Lennon Songwriting Competition twice, took top honours at the Billboard World Song Contest, as well as 2 Indie Awards nominations (Pop Artist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year) and a Western Canadian Music Award win.
Sebell’s songs have been featured in a number of television and ad synchs, including "See Through the Heart" on NBC / CTV's Saving Hope, "Darkside” on MTV's Teen Wolf and "Till the Sun Burns Out” on Rogers Canada's national ad for the Texture magazine App.
As a writer and performer Sebell has had the privilege of working with a variety of producers, writers and artists such as David Foster (Celine, Whitney Houston), Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Chris Brown, Jennifer Hudson), Toby Gad (John Legend, Beyonce), Kool Kojac (Flo Rida), Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk (Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, Madonna), Banners, Grammy nominee Ruby Amanfu, and Canadian Country Music legend, Paul Brandt, whose recent top 5 single “I’m An Open Road” was co-written by Sebell.
Sebell’s latest album "Songs For Flight Delays” was released by Universal Music Canada in 2018, followed by a North American tour.
