Dave Brainard
Dave is an experienced and Grammy nominated Songwriter with a natural ear for country music.
He claims he’s from Nebraska, but Dave was raised in an Air Force family and quite frankly, moved around a lot. He eventually gave into his passion for music and found his way to Music City; Nashville, TN.
In his early years, Dave wrote for Bigger Picture Music Entertainment where he worked alongside famed producer, Keith Stegall, and written for country favourites; Alan Jackson and Zac Brown Brand, as well as Neal McCoy and Sammy Kershaw.
In 2011, Dave produced highly acclaimed album Twelve Stories with Brandy Clark. Twelve Stories went on to receive a Metacritic score of “universal praise”, with national critics, such as the Rolling Stone, SPIN Magazine and NY Magazine recognizing Twelve Stories as “one of the Best Country Albums released in 2013.”
Over the course of his career, Dave has written and produced for country artists; Ray Scott, Brandy Clark, Jamie Kent, Jerrod Niemann, Sunny Sweeney, and many more.
