Adam Double

Adam Double is a British/Canadian session musician and composer based in London. 

He has performed and recorded with artists such as Seasick Steve, Lighthouse Family, The Shires, Tom Grennan, Ward Thomas and Lewis Watson, on guitar, bass, keys, percussion and vocals; and has toured in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.

As a composer, he has written music for a number of film and TV soundtracks. Most recently, providing additional music for the film adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s Four Kids and It (2020), starring Michael Caine, Russell Brand, Mathew Goode, and Paula Patton. Other recent credits include writing additional music for STARDUST, a mini-biopic about the creation of David Bowie’s alter-ego Ziggy Stardust starring Johnny Flynn; RACE FOR THE WHITEHOUSE, a RAW TV documentary series for CNN and DEAR NHS SUPERSTARS which aired on the BBC earlier this year.

As a session musician, Adam is best known for performing bass guitar on the soundtrack to Rocketman (2019). He also played on Elton John’s ‘I’m Gonna Love Me Again’, which went on to win Best Original Song at the 92nd Academy Awards.
