J.R. has performed with Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, and many more, he has choreographed for Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, and more, was the creative director for Jamie Foxx’s “Balme It Tour” and is currently the creative director for everything Jennifer Lopez. He has appeared in the films Dream Girls, Soul Man, and Beauty shop, he is also a 2X MTV VMA nominee.

JR Taylor
J.R. Taylor has danced with Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Missy Elliott and after dancing in movies such as Dream Girls, Soul Man and Beauty Shop, he quickly became one of the Industry’s most sought after dancers.
After gaining experience as a dancer, the transition to choreography felt natural. JR began teaching at the world-famous Millennium Dance Complex and Debbie Reynolds Dance Studios and his classes quickly filled up. He was given the opportunity to start choreographing for artists: Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Queen Latifah, Trey Songz and Snoop Dogg. Soon award shows, commercials, music videos, stage shows and movies followed.
In 2009 he added Creative Director to his title by working with Jamie Foxx on his “Blame It Tour”. For the past few years J.R. has been responsible for everything that is Jennifer Lopez! He has revamped her career and become her main choreographer: from commercials to stage shows to music videos and her recent record breaking world tour.
In 2012, J.R. Taylor was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography for Jennifer Lopez “Dance Again” and received another Best Choreography nomination for Jennifer Lopez “Live It Up” in 2013.
