Simon O’Connor
Simon O’Connor is the bass player in Grammy nominated psychedelic rock band MGMT, as well as the creative force behind Simon Doom.
He is a lifelong musician well-respected for his songwriting prowess and his innovation at both guitar and bass. In addition to his work with MGMT and Simon Doom, Simon has also written and performed with Kuroma and Amazing Baby.
Simon’s praises have been sung everywhere from NME Magazine to Rolling Stone and Tommy Stinson of The Replacements, who felt strongly enough about Simon’s talent to contribute as a producer on his debut EP for Simon Doom.
